NARS Love Yourself Blush and Bronzing Powder

This is my favorite new blush and lip gloss combo! The set is $49 at Sephora but it is so worth it. The blush color looks great on any skin tone and offers a buildable hint of color. The full size blush is a great value. One Nars blush retails for $25. So a two for the  price of one combo, rocks! Set includes blush color Angelica and bronzer Laguna. The lip gloss is called Angelica and matches the blush while providing  long lasting color. I already use and love the Nars Sheer Glow foundation. So this set definitely meets my expectations. It is well worth the money. You will look like a million dollars! wink wink:) 

My Favorite Things for Spring 2012

There are lots of trends to follow in spring 2012, from the smoky eye, colorful accessories, to pops of color. Of these trends, my favorites include a bright red lipstick and a trendsetting fedora.

Red lipstick is in for spring! There are so many different kinds of reds. I recently found an inexpensive fiery orange at Walgreens for $1.69(Wet n Wild, Salsa Lessons). This color is all you need to set off your face. It makes people look at you and makes a colorful statement. I like that its bright but not clownish on my tan skin. The lipstick glides on very well and provides even color!

My other favorite is a tan and black ribbon fedora. This is a reoccurring spring/summer trend from 2011 but it is so stylish and adds a bit of couture to any look. I like wearing my hat with skinny jeans, and shorts! The featured hat's style reminds me of a Micheal Jackson video but it also very boho with the wicker texture. I found this at Forever21 for less than $10.00.

These two favorites also work well together and create a very cool and causal look!

March Glam Bag Review(better not best)

I was excited to see the little pink package in the mail this week. Hoping that after many complaints posted on the site about last month's bag, this month's bag would rock out. Well, not so much. Maybe I am expecting to much in the first place. But the good news is that it came with the cutest blending brush and case, great for travel. But the bag itself smelled like moth balls, what's up with that! This month's bag featured the following products:

Mizani Moisturfuse Conditioner

I recently decided to switch up my conditioner and try something new. This conditioner is a high end product noted for its ability to restore and bind moisture into the hair. It is also slated to improve manageability. Last night was my first time using it. My hair felt really nice. However, I want to see how my hair responds over time. My first glam bag! Happy/Sad Face

Ok so there is a beauty subscription program by make up guru Michelle Phan. The bag shown below is the February Glam bag. Items in the bag include

This is a $10 per month program. But my first bag was not as exciting as I had hoped (sad face). The only products that I enjoyed using were the X Out Shine Control and Freeman's facial mask(happy face). Otherwise, I was disappointed. My March bag is on the way, so hopefully it will be much better. The program is supposed to provide at least one full size beauty product each month and several samples. However, you may not always like what comes in your cute little glam bag. Each bag has a theme and of course the little bag is great for storing makeup and other trinkets. This is also an inexpensive way to try new beauty products.
